Overview
My Media is your workspace library for images, GIFs, and videos. Upload files once, tag them, and reuse them in any post.
Open it from the composer: click the image button in the toolbar, then choose the My Media tab. You can also switch to AI Studio or Stock Media from the same picker.
Adding files
- Upload images or videos from your computer
- Paste an image or video from the clipboard
- Save generated results from AI Studio
- Save items from Stock Media
- Import from Google Drive when that source is connected
New files appear at the top of My Media and can be attached to a post right away.
Finding files
Use the search box, or turn on filters from the gear menu:
- Type: Images, GIFs, or Videos
- Source: Uploaded, Stock Media, AI Generated, or Google Drive
- Used: Unused, Drafts, Scheduled, or Published
- Tags: any tag on the file
Search can also understand a date range in plain language (for example, “images from last week”) when that option is on in preferences.
Tags on media
Tags are the same workspace tags you use on posts.
- Open an image or video from My Media
- In Add tags…, type a name
- Choose an existing tag or press Enter to create one
- Click a tag’s remove control to detach it
Tiles show up to two tags, with +N for the rest. Filter My Media by tag to see only matching files. See Tags.
Reusing media in a post
- Open a draft in the composer
- Click the image button and go to My Media
- Select one or more files
- Attach them to the active platform tab
Media is attached per platform, so you can use different files on Instagram and LinkedIn for the same post.
Storage
Library files count toward your plan’s storage. Check usage on Settings → Billing. If a new upload would exceed the cap, the upload is blocked until you delete unused files or upgrade.
Deleting a file from My Media removes it from the library. Posts that already used it are not automatically updated.
